About Dr. Pass

TEACHING EXPERIENCE:
I have teaching experience in Florida and Tennessee, having taught grades K through 12 and undergraduate distance learning college courses in Educational Leadership and Technology. During my teaching career I have taught computer graphic design, painting, drawing, and ceramics. I enjoy all of the media and processes involved in creating art. 
 

PHILOSOPHY:

As an advocate of life-long learning, my focus as an educator is on student achievement and success. I encourage creativity in the classroom and promote respect for self and each other, as well as an appreciation for the art process, which includes supplies and equipment.

 

EDUCATION:

My undergraduate work was completed at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL; I earned a Master of Arts in Teaching at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, FL; I completed my Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership in 2005 at the University of North Florida, which gives me the title "Doctor"! My area of research was technology integration in the classroom and online learning.

 

CERTIFICATIONS:
My teaching licenses in Tennessee are in Administration and K-12 Visual Arts.
