About your teacher:
I'm excited to welcome all incoming students to the 2023-2024 school year! This is my 24th year teaching. I received my associates degree from Motlow State Community College, and I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with my Bachelor's degree in 1999. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade, and middle school is definitely my forte. This is my 7th year teaching 7th grade ELA. This year will be jammed pack with learning new texts, using technology as a tool, and I will be here to support you and your child every step of the way.
Information for students:
- Please check your grades regularly through Skyward using your assigned username and password. If you need assistance with your login information, visit or call our attendance office.
- You can access Amplify, the online 7th Grade ELA textbook, through Clever.
- You can access your Office 365 account by clicking here, the username and password are the same as your computer login at school.
Suggested Student Supply List for ELA:
- Loose-leaf paper
- Wooden pencils
- Highlighters (any color)
- Post-it-notes
- Kleenex (Students go through these quickly and they are greatly appreciated)
- Erasers
- Pencil pouch (These are helpful, not required)
- Headphones or earbuds (We use a computer based textbook)
