BLACK HISTORY FACT OF THE DAY: Former world heavyweight boxing champion Jimmy Ellis was born James Albert Ellis in Louisville, Kentucky in 1940. Ellis won the World Boxing Association title after beating Jerry Quarry in April 1968.

Beat Lab is an after school program where you get to work with the Discovery Center and a MTSU student to create your own song, edit it and then make it into your own music video.
